Kate Ivory
As girls Director of Trident Lacrosse, Kate has been instrumental in helping to grow the girls’ side of the organization in her two years with the program. She also launched the inaugural Manhattan Beach Middle School Girls’ Lacrosse team in 2018 to continue the growth of the sport in the South Bay and provide players of all skill levels opportunities to play under top-level coaching. Kate played her undergrad years at Cornell (’13) where she was an All-American defensive-midfielder and named the 2013 Ivy League Defender of the Year while serving as Team Captain in her senior year. After graduating from Cornell, Kate used her junior year ACL tear as an opportunity to take her fifth year of eligility at Northwestern, to compete for a national championship while studying Sports Marketing & Public Relations as a graduate student. Kate’s leadership skills translated with her new teammates and she was named a Captain at Northwestern, where she started every game & led the team to a Final Four appearance. Kate was named a 2014 Pre-season and Academic All-American and will use her experience to work with all age groups and divisions in the Trident program.
